Hello Ethan and Isaiah from the Room 17 of the Woodend School in Adelaide, Australia.
Thank you very much for your message on our class blog (http://cm1.galligani.eu/2017/02/08/la-chorale-ephemere-du-telethon-2016/). The French translation is good… Well done !
My Students will visit your classblog in a couple of weeks, because currently they are on winter holidays.
How old are you ? Do you learn French language in your school ? In our class (CM2) the children are 10 or 11 years old ; they are connected with friends from the Room Three of Auroa School, New Zealand, who help them to learn English. We also help them to learn French.
I’m sure that my Students will love interacting with Australian Students too. Now, they know a lot of things about New Zealand, but nothing about your huge country ; it’s an amazing opportunity for them to discover a new world and new friends from the other side of the world.
Give my best regards to your Teachers Mr Lamshed and Mr Natar.
We will be in touch !
Friendly

Hi CM2 we are looking forward to interacting this year. We are both 11 turning 12 and we learn Japanese in our school. We wish that we did French too. We have a couple of questions. Does it snow in France? Because it doesn’t here. What are some of the different laws in France? Have any of your students been to Australia? We hope your kids have a lovely rest of their holidays. We can’t wait until we can start to interact with your students.
Sincerely Isaiah and Ethan from room 17, Woodend Primary School.

Hello Australian friends,
Thank you for your questions. I’m going to answer the question about snow.
In France, we can have snow depending on where we live. For example, this winter, we had two snowy days in Brindas.
I’m just came back from the ” 2 Alpes “, a ski resort where there is a lot of snow ; I had a two-hour-and-half trip by car to go there. Here is the link of the site of this resort :

See you later friends !!!

Thank you for answering our question we had a look at the website you gave us and we both wish that we could go to there for a full semester. If you want to ask us any questions please feel free to. Sincerely Isaiah and Ethan.
Sinceramente Isaiah y Ethan.X

Thanks a lot boys for your kind message. But I think you made one mistake in the translation : you wrote in Spanish, not in French. The text below translates your comment into French :
Don’t be worry… My Students were back at school since Monday. They are working hard on a video-slideshow comparing Australia and France. It’s very exciting and they are learning a lot… and me too. They already found some answers, but they need you to revise, complete and comment their work. I’ll upload it on our classblog in a couple of weeks, after they finish writing texts (in French and in English), selecting pictures and editing the video. You’ll see, they‘ll ask you several questions.

Hi, friends !
You asked a question about the different laws in France, but there are a lot of laws in our country. So, our Teacher told us to tell you about the laws that affect the school. We’ll answer you on this subject in a few days.

Hello everyone.
To complete the Maxime’s comment, here are the great laws that concern the school in France :
– education is compulsory from six years old to sixteen years old,
– since 1882, thanks to the Jules Ferry’s laws, the school became free and secular (that means that one does not learn a religion or political ideas in a classroom).
